Hello, quick post to show you a card made for a fellow turning 50.

An image from Kenny K seems appropriate,

what guy wouldn't want her smiling back at him. LOL.

Used copics to colour her and stickles for added bling.

Embossed the music and Tim Holtz die for the gears.

It can be challenging to not use any flowers.

Lazy Afternoon...

Good morning, hope all is well with you today.

Summer is here but the weather sure isn't cooperating!

Today I would like to share a card I made for father day.

What better way to relax than to get away

and ponder life fishing.

Image is from Lilly of the Valley, coloured with copics, water colour pencils and pearlescent chalks. Paper is DCVW Mariposa Stack and SU old olive.

Stained all the edges with walnut and used crystal stickles.

Sentiment is made on my computer.

Between the girls ...

Good evening, glad you can visit.

It's Wednesday and I hope your week is going well.

Mine has been very busy and I cannot believe it is June 1st!

Today I made a card for a girlfriend to give to her daughter.

What better image than having coffee together!

This lovely Lily of the Valley image has been coloured with copics.
All the paper has been stained with walnut.
I have used several different die and punches for this card -
I do love using dies. The theme is blue and composition is the sketch from Sketch Saturday Challenge blog.

In the garden....

Good evening,how is your week going?
Sunny weather always makes each day more cheerful.

This card is made with DCWV and bazzil paper. All edges were stained with walnut. The gorgeous image is a Lily Of the Valley stamp. She was coloured with my copics, her wings have dazzling diamonds to show off her beautiful wings.

The flourish, doilies flower and leaves are magnolia die. The two smaller flowers are from Wild Orchid. The lace edge and butterflies are MS punches. Lace ribbon is from my stash.

I have used white opal liquid pearls, stardust stickles and crystal jewels for the added sparkle.

Just for YOU!

Happy Sunday,

hope your weekend has had many happy moments!

Mailing cards to loved ones is what came to mind when
I made this card. I used SU and DCWV Rustic Stack for the paper
and stained all the edges with vintage photo.

This is a look at the layers to the sunflower of which SU crystal effects and stickles were used for added sparkle. I used MS punches for the scalloped edges and butterfly.

Waterfall and stardust stickles were used on the butterflies. Sizzix die was used behind the adorable Lilly of the Valley image and Tim Holtz tattered flowers was used for my large flower. I coloured the bear, sunflower and butterflies with my copics. The sky was coloured with my water colour pencils.

A quick look at the inside .... I don't feel my card is complete unless I coordinate the inside.

For Mom!

Basket for Mom!

Hello,

hope you are having a wonderful week!

I made this card with Mom in mind.

Gotta give Mom flowers in the spring!

I used bazzil and MS paper, distressed the edges and used MS punch. I recycled cardboard by painting it white and adding crackle paint for a vintage look. The tule is cut with a sizzix die and edges are stained with copics.

I coloured this gorgeous Magnolia Tilda from the butterfly collection with my copics and coloured in the sky with my watercolour light blue pencil. I edged her with diamond stickles. I put liquid pearls on her shoes and on the bows in her hair. The centre of the flowers have blue stickles to add sparkle. The purple punched flowers have dazzling diamonds on them and the WOC flowers have been spritzed with gold glimmer mist.

The ribbon is from my stash. This is what the inside looks like.

Spring Flowers!

Hello, sorry I haven't posted in a few weeks but we took a much needed vacation.

Scooted off to a resort and relaxed on the beach - it was heaven!

This card is made with spring in mind, many of us will be starting to, or wanting to get out

into our flower beds and off to the nurseries.

This cute magnolia image just arrived in the mail and couldn't wait to colour her with my copics.
I can't think of a more perfect gift for a birthday or special event than a pot with living flowers.

happy Monday everyone!

Hope you are off to a great week and everything is going well.

This is a quick post to share with you the card I made this week. Tilda is waiving to say see you soon. She was coloured with my copics and the sky was created with my water colour crayons. The paper is DCWV Luxury Stack along with white and blue card stock. MS lace punch was used along with SU Daisies #2 die. All the paper is edged with walnut stain.

Close up of the WOC flowers that were sprayed with gold glimmer mist, the sparkles aren't showing in the photo though. Blue satin ribbon is layered over blue organza ribbon.
White pearls and gems are used to add some sparkle.

Love is in the air #2

Hello,

hope your week is going well for you. It's already the middle of the week and the
weekend will be here before we know it.

This is #2 card made for Spring weddings. The image is from Funky kits, I made my sky with water colour crayons, her dress is dazzling diamond sparkles and pearls on her tiara
I used DCWV paper, MS punches, Sizzix die and embellished with pearls, liquid pearls,
ribbon from my stash and WOC flowers.

I stained all the edges with walnut stain and then used stardust stickles along the edges.
I edged the image with gathered ribbon to frame the image.

Love is in the air ...

Hello,

How was your weekend? Sure goes by quickly, Monday seems to slide in far too soon.
But spring is upon us!

With spring comes the flurry of weddings surrounded in love.
This is the card I made this week.

I used basil lavender card stock, vanilla card stock and a special homemade paper embedded with leaves and flowers. The image is stempelglede stamped with in perfect plum and edged with stardust stickles. Below the top heart, I have framed the base heart with platinum pearls, difficult to see because I didn't take an angle picture. Sizzix dies, MS punches and magnolia dies were used to embellish. I stained all the edges with walnut and perfect plum.

And a quick peek at the inside ....

A stempelglede sentiment was used. All the flowers are from WOC as are the pearls.
The organza ribbons are from my stash and are two shades of lavender.

And the righthand side for the handwritten sentiments.

how is your week going? Hope all is well with you.

With Spring around the corner, this gives me hope and brings gardening and flowers to mind.

I made this card with an image from Sugar Nellie and coloured her with my copics. I made my sky with my water colour pencils again and it seems to have turned out. Both the print and solid colour paper are from the DCWV linen closet stack. I used MS punch for the edges and corners and all edges are stained with walnut stain. I added star dust stickles around the picture and
again on the corners on the inside.

Here is how it opens into an easle.

The lace was bought from a fabric store and is from my stash. The pearls are MS and the flowers are prima. I used a Stempelglede stamp on the solid paper for added pattern. The sentiment is computer generated.

Sweet Treat for You ....

Hello,

hope all is well with you this week. I made this card for a birthday celebration.

Herbert is an image from Karen's Doodles, isn't he sweet.
I coloured him with my copics and used derwent watercolour pencils for the sky. My first attempt at this, but seems to have worked out alright. The paper is DCWV Linen Closet and all
edges are stained with walnut stain and sewn with a straight stitch.
Flowers are EK Success punch and have precious finds gems and SU gems.
The organza ribbon and bow are from my stash of ribbon.

I added diamond stickles to the hat, sprinkles on the cupcake and centre of the daisies.

Hello,

how was your valentines day? It was a wonderful start to the week!

This is my very first easel card and was made with love in mind.

Blowing kisses out to that someone special seems appropriate for Valentines day.

I used two magnolia images for this card. I stamped Tilda with black tuxedo, masked and then stamped the suitcase for her to sit on. The scallops and circles are sizzix dies. I added tule between the scallops and the circles. I used DCVW Rustic and Luxury Stack paper for my two designer papers
and linen paper for my solid colours. All of the paper is edged with chocolate brown ink.

I coloured Tilda and the suitcase with copics. The sizzix swirl is scribble swirl from Stamp-in Up. Flowers and pearls are Wild Orchid; branches are MS punch. Inside are prima flowers with jewel brads of which I sprayed with copper shimmer.

I used this weeks Friday Sketchers image for my card and entering it into the challenge.
Also Crafty Catz Challenge 69 and Crafts 4 Eternity R#6.

Love is in the air!

Hello, hope this week is finding you well! I am sure someone put wings on this week
because it is flying by. I hope it isn't going to quickly for you.

This card was made for that special "someone" in your life.
The printed paper is from Stampin Up, pink paper is recollection. All 4 rectangles have been sewn on my sewing machine. The pink heart was stamped first and then the Love in black on top. The red L & V, and pink O & E are covered with diamond stickles. White DCWV Mariposa glitter paper was used for the butterfly. The pink roses and rosebuds are from Wild Orchid.

The sentiment was stamped in silver. All the pearls are Stampin Up jewels and bitty sparkles from Close to my Heart was used in the middle. The organza ribbon has been embellished with a pearl.

I hope your week is going well for you!

Today I have made this card with the Creative Inspiration Challenge # 97

gorgeous sketch. The card was made to wish a girl friend

many special years ahead in her retirement.

I stamped Tilda on detail blending cardstock with black amuse ink. She was coloured with copics. The paper used is DCWV luxury stack, white core pastels and Martha Stewart pastel paper.

The edges have been stained with groovy guava and pink.

The flowers are all Wild Orchid flowers and the leaves are a Martha Stewart punch. The organdy ribbon is from my stash and the pearls are Martha Stewart, Stampin Up and Recollections.

The round dies are nesties, edges stained and then diamond stickles added.

Touch of Rebel!

Good morning! Hope your week went well and best wishes for a great weekend!

This is going to be a quick post.

I made this card with an image named Devastatia from Kenny K downloads,

isn't she adorable.

I coloured the image with my copics on white detail blending paper. The floural and solid red paper is from the Mariposa Stack DCVW, checked paper is from Stampin up and all backed with Bazzill Mud Pie brown paper. I stained all the edges with walnut stain distress ink.

I used black eyelets and black embroidery floss to minic her bodice.

Snuggling up!

Hello, how has your weekend? I hope you have had a wonderful weekend! Today I would like to share with you a card I made with quilting in mind.

I couldn't resist using this cute magnolia baby to snuggle up on the quilt. I have had it for some time now and this was the perfect marriage. Baby was coloured with my copics and the wings are sprinkled with dazzing diamonds. All the 1" squares are cut from Linen Closet Cardstock Stack and then sewn together. The ovals are die cut using nesties and a magnolia doohickey for the tag.

All have been edged with soft sky blue ink.

Here is a closer look at the centre.

I have used three different itty bitty buttons and embellished them with a small bow made from crochet cotton. All the gorgeous flowers are from Wild Orchid and the ribbon is from my stash.

I hope your week is going well! It is hard to believe how quickly

January is flying by.

Today I would like to share with you a "just for you" card.

This card is made with this sweet image from the Magnolia 2010 Collection. I have coloured her with copics. All the paper is edged with walnut stain and her feet are highlighted with W1 copic marker.

The circle is hand cut and the scalloped circle is a Sizzix scallop. The embossing is done with Sizzix embossing folders, then the edges are sewn. The sentiment label is from stampin up with a 1 inch circle for the wording.

The beautiful flowers are from Wild Orchid crafts.

Making Friends.....

Hello and happy monday, hope your week is starting out well for you!

I am grateful that the new year is here and all the hustle and bustle of the Christmas season is behind us.

I made this card today with this cute image from

Sugar Nellie Stamps entitled Braveheart.

I stamped the image with black amuse ink onto one sheet wonder paper.

I coloured with my copic markers and edged everything with walnut stain.

I layered white organdy ribbon over chocolate double faced satin ribbon.

Embellished with one button, brown pearls and a few jewels.

The flowers are from Wild Orchid and the leaves are from MS branch punch.

With 2010 almost at a close it is time to look forward to the next year.

Guys Relaxing

Hello there, I used the sketch from Friday Sketchers Challenge #130

to create this with the guys in mind.

Everybody has to have down time and this is the result ....

This wonderful image is from Sugar Nellie and appropriately named "Fore!"

We are just entering the Christmas season but it makes me want to get out

on the greens and chase that little white ball around.

It would help to wear off all the extra goodies

we tend to indulge in at this time of year.

Ingredients: Stampin Up printed paper,

heavy gold paper from my stash,

coloured with my copics,

edged with stampin up scalloped punch,

image is cropped with deckled nestabilities and scissors,

filigree charms and brads from close to my heart.

Good morning, hope today is finding you well!

This card is being entered into the Crafty Cats Weekly Challenge and

the Crafts 4 Eternity Weekly Challenge. The image used as inspiration is -

from Crafts 4 Eternity.

And this is my interpretation -

The paper is so pretty I didn't want to cover or embellish to much

and take away from it.

Recipe is: DCWV Mariposa cardstock stack,

both the printed and the linen paper.

Ribbon, buttons and butterfly are all from my stash

and do not know the brand names, sorry.

Flowers are prima paper roses and rose buds.

Branches are MS punch.

Sewn on my faithful sewing machine.

The image is from funky kits and is known as little goth girl

and coloured with my copics. The circle in which she sits

and the scalloped back ground are sizzix dies.

I wanted to keep the inside simple, encouraging heartfelt semtiments.

Shower Wishes

This was created with a wedding shower in mind.

I guess the umbrella was the inspiration, representing an afternoon shower. I used this DCWV paper from the Linen Closet stack giving it sparkle. You cannot see the sparkle but the paper does have it.

Here is the inside ....

I used MS stamp for the lace edges and the branches. Embellised with prima flowers,

pearls and lace. And tool of choice was my sewing machine.

The image is a Sugar Nellie stamp, First Dance, from Funky Kits

and coloured with my copics. Dress is embellished with dazzling

diamonds to add dazzle. Tiara has mini gems.

Ingredients are 80 lb white, black and purple paper, topped with

DWCV mauve designer paper. Embellished with prima flowers,

MS branches, lace, pearls, bow and sewn on sewing machine.

The image doesn't seem to be a pretty as in person,

maybe because I

placed it on to dark of a surface.

and coloured with copics and water colour pencils.

branches. Also added rhinestone jewels for added sparkle.

I used Basil glass slipper paper in addition to the white.

Good morning, seems once September arrives, Christmas arrives upon us in a blink of an eye. So here is my first card with Christmas in mind.

The card has a small gift into intself - a bookmark. The snowflakes are sprinkled with dazzling diamonds and cut with sizzix. Embellished with dew drops, ribbon and sewn on my sewing machine. I am entering this in the Creative Inspirations Challenge #80.

Tilda was coloured with copics and the table is a stamped image from stampin up. Paper is DCWV Rustic Stack and embellished with buttons and prima flowers.

Here is another manga image from Funky kits, they are so expressive. Coloured with copics, used DCWV paper and impressed with sizzix impression. Dazzling diamond is used to add sparkle to the image and embellished with prima flowers and die cut leaves. And of course sewn on my sewing machine. Hope you enjoy.

This is my first post on my website. I did this card a few months ago with spring in
mind. Gardening, butterflies and flowers all arriving with the birds. All done with
80 lb card stock and coloured with water colour pencils.
