Window Box

Thanks Tom for making this beautiful window box.
I added the base moulding, painted it and this is the result.
Step one ...

Step two and three ...
finished box and flowers in for the fall :)

The joy of this is, I can change it up for each season.

Each day brings a dash of colour at my front door,
makes me smile every day.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Hi, here is a little project that I did as an "repurposed" file folder.
I have been recycling and repurposing for many years.
I love to find a new use for an old object :)
I was totally inspired by AJ @ Splitcoaststampers.
Each section has a removable section for lists that can be easily used in
your purse or put on your fridge.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Night on the Town ...

You may see a couple of posts over the next few days, I have a few completed projects
but was having camera issues and am trying to get caught up now.
I am still not happy with the colour of my photos ... hmmm.
This was made for a girl friend who was moving away to
starting a whole new life.

Graphics 45 - a Ladies Diary paper was used along with vintage trinkets,
wild orchid flowers, lace, doilies, stick pins and a few stamps.  I used glossy accents
on her image in the mirror but it doesn't show in the photo :(

This is the inside left side.

This is the inside right side.
I created a small note book to write a sentiment.

Thanks for stopping by and please leave a comment to let me know what you think.
Have a great day!

Sister's ...

I had the pleasure of taking one of Anna Dabrowska's classes and this is the result.
It pulled many of my ideas together that were floating around in my head.

I absolutely love all her work and loved working with mixed media.
If you haven't yet, go to her website and check out her work tworzysko.blogspot.com
Prima Sunrise-Sunset Collection paper, prima flowers, Finnabair
vintage trinkets and stencils and primary elements were used.

beautiful weather as we saw here!

Couldn't think of a better picture because we don't live close and wish I could be
with her on her special day!  I coloure the gals with my copics.

I used MS essentials paper pad.  Tim Holtz, spellbinders and magnolia die.
I recycled, painted and crackled cardboard and a broken necklace was also recyled into the bead sprays.   Dazzling diamonds, star dust and basic jewels were to added to give the sparkle.
Ribbon is used from my stash.
Here is the inside sentiment.

Here is the birthday wishes and room for hand written sentiments.

Hope you are feeling better soon ....

Hello, hope your week is going well for you!

Today I would like to share with you a card I made for a friend who fell and broke her wrist.  I hope this lifts her spirits and she heals quickly.

I coloured this gorgeous summer image with my copics.  The paper is DCWV Painted Petals stack and plain purple and yellow cardstock.
Dies are, spellbinders, whimsy and magnolia.  MS punch was used and the bead
daisies have been made by me.  Flowers are all W.O.

I used stardust stickles and dazzling diamonds for flowers and
framing the image; stained edges with walnut.
Sentiments are Whimsy Stamps.

I painted the cardboard white and then painted with Tim Holtz crackle paint.

Flowers are from Wild Orchid.

Card is 6 x 6" with a spine.  Dies are spell binders and magnolia.

Here is the back!
